Tribes

Within the borders of the world, countries, cities, neighborhoods, households and families we find tribes.These tribes do not always share color, race, religion or language. These tribes share similar ideas.

The most noted and popular tribes and their characteristics are as follows:

• Uknowwhatuoughtado – members sit around telling other members of the tribe as well as other tribes what they need to do and how to do it without participating in the solution. Advice and discussions usually last longer than the challenge at hand. Tribe members are noted for their quick disappearance when work starts and their quick arrival after completion to lend comment.
• Ushouldadone – members waiting for others members, without giving assistance, to complete tasks and then criticizing how things were done. Tribe members show a rare talent at describing past events while reaching outcomes they rarely experience.
• Itsnotmyjob or Letsumbodyelsedoit – members show little commitment but great realization as to their responsibilities as well as there capabilities. Tribe members most often live in broken down, decaying circumstance. A common slogan of this tribe is “I have fallen and I cannot get up”.
• Yshouldaicare – members are most notably known for lack of assistance and willingness to participate. Reaction from this tribe comes only during personal provocation and threats of elimination of self benefits.
• Willdoittomorrow – a wispy, hard to see tribe known for rarely gathering. Their existence is substantiated by large piles of process not yet done.
• Onlymyway – tribes, most notably, consisting of one member. On occasion, this tribe will hold sway over other tribes such as the Itsnotmyjob, Letsumbodyelsedoit, Yshouldicare or Willdoittomorrow.
• Iwilldoit – a very rare tribe, usually consisting of few members, willing and able to complete tasks. Tribe members continue to endure regardless of other tribe's prodding, provocation and their effects. These tribes are easily spotted as those being in the hole digging while other tribes stand by watching.

These tribes and many like them have endured for centuries, for the most part, because they are self perpetuating. Their existence is a monument to the character of man and his circumstance. Their strength is derived from their vision of the future and their regard for their past.
