Aim Small, Miss Small

I am reminded of my golf days. When you stand on the tee you must aim. If you ask most people, “Where do you aim?” Most will say, “Out there.” or “Down the fairway.” Only a few will tell you, “Down the left side, over the third sprinkler right at that small brown spot at the edge of the bunker so the ball stops in the flat of the fairway.” Now, those people are clearly concentrating on the result. Even if they miss by a little bit they are still close to their result. If you just aim at a fairway and miss, even by a little bit, you still missed the fairway. Remember, just by making what you want to hit larger doesn’t necessarily make it easier or obtainable.

Picture what you want to happen. Imagine it in great detail and then aim small, miss small.
